Welcome to my collection of photographs of our feathered friends, birds. I started to occasionally photograph birds back in 2005, but have become more interested in the hobby late in 2006, and now seem to look for any excuse to go out with the camera.
Initially I used my Canon S2 IS for this photography but the slow AF soon forced me down the D-SLR route, and my first "proper" camera was the Canon 350D. This coupled with a Canon 100-400mm lens started the ball rolling, and I have recently upgraded to the new Canon 40D, which is superb.
Most of my photography is from the Midlands, as that is where I am based, but I do like to travel around as much as possible to see the rest of the country!
